It's fun to connect with other soap makers, especially ones that are nearby :-)<br /><br />Addictive is an accurate description for soap making. I was hooked from day one.<br /><br />I buy lots of lye at once through AAAchemicals online. I used to buy from a home improvement store (I forget which one) but always felt funny purchasing a bunch of lye. I felt like I should take in soap samples to assure them that's why I needed all that lye :-) AAAchemicals runs sales once or twice a year.
